    Great for race kayaking

    As I do race kayaking, I needed a cap that blocked the sun well so that I could carry on with my training and this does just the job!
    I always trust icon products and they constantly meet my expectations.

    A high visibility cap great for sea paddling and during sunny days.

    My sea kayak paddling includes a lot of far off shore exploits when I like to wear highly visible tops and PFD to maximise my chances of being noticed as early as possible by larger off shore craft. This is especially important when paddling more demanding sea states when other crafts are unlikely to expect kayaks to be out paddling off shore. The glare from the sea is quite intense on sunny days so I always wear a peaked cap. This 'Performance Paddle Sport Cap' serves both purposes and I find the fit very good. The exception being use during windy conditions. For such times I use a thin cord to attach the cap to my PFD as even with a tight fit using the Velcro fastener strong winds still lift the cap off.
    A good quality well made cap at a very reasonable price.
